Brew the Perfect Jasmine Tea at Home: Simple and Relaxing Steps

by admin min read 0 comments

There’s something instantly calming about jasmine tea – that soft floral aroma, the light golden hue, and the way it seems to quiet the mind with every sip. Whether it’s your way to unwind after a long day or to start your morning on a peaceful note, jasmine tea is as much about the fragrance as it is about the flavour.

And the best part? You don’t need a tea master or a fancy cafe to enjoy it. With just a few simple steps, you can make jasmine tea at home that tastes and smells like serenity itself.

How to make Jasmine Tea?

Ingredients

Before we get into jasmine tea preparation, here’s what you’ll need:
  • 1 teaspoon loose-leaf jasmine tea (or 1 tea bag)
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • Honey or sugar (optional, to taste)
  • A few dried jasmine flowers (optional, for extra aroma)
Tips:
  • Choose quality tea: Loose-leaf jasmine tea tends to have a more authentic aroma and flavour than most tea bags.
  • Take your time: Jasmine tea’s magic is subtle, so allow its scent to fill the room before taking a sip.
  • Experiment with blends: For a unique flavour, combine jasmine tea with green or white tea leaves.

Instructions

  • Heat water to about 80–85°C.
  • Add the jasmine tea (loose leaves or tea bag) into a cup or teapot.
  • Pour the hot water over the tea and let it steep for 2–3 minutes.
  • If you like your tea sweet, add in a teaspoon of honey or sugar.
  • Remove the tea leaves or bag, and your soothing cup of jasmine tea at home is ready.

So next time you crave a quiet moment or a gentle pick-me-up, follow this jasmine tea preparation and let the floral aroma transform your day.
